One of the big external factors affecting cycling is the type of ground you're riding on. These tyres do not have an inner tube and generally also feature a sealant liquid inside which will automatically fill and harden in the hole in case of a puncture. They have many performance advantages – lighter weight, better resistance to pinch flats and they can easily be run at low pressure, but you will have to adapt the wheel to the tyre.
